My S24 is applying for Chem Engin which is in the College of Chem. He has forbidden and the name/ID.
My S23 last year got not authorized (we didn’t check for ID) and was WL. For kicks I tried to log into the sites tonight using S23’s credentials and he still is not authorized and does not have an ID.
I was definitely worried last year and we were disappointed when he wasn’t admitted because Cal was 23’s first choice. It stung for weeks and he never got off the WL. He’s obviously somewhere else now and very happy with his choice and views not getting into Cal as a blessing in disguise because he thinks he’s personally more suited for his current school. My point is whatever the results are on Thursday and whether or not astrology ends up correct, getting WL or rejected will hurt and will hurt a lot for whomever had high hopes for Cal. But everyone will end up at the school that’s the best fit for you - love the school that loves you back.

so hold on here if i got both forbidden via the first method, and in addition got to log in with an id number starting with 304, did i just get into berkeley??? how accurate is this cause i cannot believe my own eyes here

Last year it was very accurate.
yes! last year it was highly accurate & everyone with forbidden ended up getting in. we aren’t sure if this is 100% accurate this year, but take it as a positive sign!

berkeley was my dream school but i figured i had no chance from the get go

Has anyone who applied to the school of engineering get forbidden yet?
the ID numbers don’t matter. I know early berkeley admits with both a 303 or 304 number.

other than the ID number question pretty much everything that would point towards an acceptance does
it’s not guaranteed but im hopin it happens
I have a 3039 number. My other “forbidden” friends have a 30400 or 30406, for example.
