sorry yeah thats what I meant
same here
Yes! And if anyone doesnât have access denied, then it may be meaningful. But we canât really tell cuz people were going to the wrong place.
Isnât it still a bit too early for transfer decisions to be made?
im not a transfer
Oh nvm I read that wrong my bad
I think people went to the publicly available admitted students page
the most unnecessary heart attack ever bruh im lowkey mad rn
makin me think that my initial hope needed to go out the window
people just went here. The page doesnt mean anything.
admitdotberkeleydotedu/
lol. Too bad theyâre not the number 1 public institution
Whatâs the page link? Iâm gonna ask my friend whoâs an early admitted regent to access it and see what it says
haha
I think I may have not logged in⊠can anyone see the page if they arenât logged in? UGH!
mb fam I was geekin too cause some redditor said they were able to access it.
if i die of a heart attack avenge me bro fr
cannot just be doin that
Wait Iâm so confused does the admitted page mean anything or?
to recap:
iirc only people with not authorized claimed they could access it
my theory is that itâs because they cannot log into the service, and by not being logged in, you cannot be prevented from viewing the page, possibly because it does contain our acceptance vs seeing a generic page viewable to everyone when not logged in
so me personally im going to choose to disregard
Could there be any other reasoning to it you think?
For the source code change, what are we expecting to see for accepted, WL, and rejected.
i honestly have no idea but it makes sense to me in the current form
people who are not authorized also arenât able to log in
if you donât log in, you get to see that generic acceptance screen
the forbidden + ID people who CAN log in, are unable to, because theyâve logged in
if mainly not authorized people are reporting they can see it (with forbidden people claiming to but thereâs a chance theyâre logged out too) then maybe theyâre just seeing a generic screen and this entire thing means nothing
i donât know for sure but i think it checks out as a random theory
