My son received a Forbidden but is too nervous to see if he has an ID (it’s killing me). Has anyone received a Forbidden and NOT had an ID?
everyone i know to have gotten a forbidden (including myself) also got an ID#

Thank you so much! It’s been a BRUTAL UC year with WL and rejections. We are holding hope this last one is a go! Appreciate all the thinking everyone is doing. So fun (and nerve-wracking)

gonna need berk to do me a favor here
He got in to UMich EA so we thought that was a good sign for UC. Nope. WL at SD and SB (which surprised). LA and I flat out reject. I know all the seniors have worked so damn hard for this - sacrificed summers and sleep! It’s heartbreaking honestly. But there’s a fantastic school for everyone no matter the outcome on Thursday!

same. everyone (including my college counselor) told me one of stanford or mit was in the bag. rejected from stanford and mit and waitlisted from ucla and cmu, which fr crushed my confidence. this would fix everything tbh

i’m in a similar situation
everyone i knew expected I could get Princeton REA or UChicago ED2 (didn’t happen)
every private I did, from CWRU to JHU rejected me
so berkeley would pretty much completely salvage the situation

My D did the forbidden. But would try the calnet. So for me it’s still a guess. Admit vs WL.
We got in some top public and private schools so far, DF Stanford, WL ucla, waiting for NW, and Cal seems promissing…

Do you guys know if possible to transfer from out-of-state school (top 30) to ucla/ucb after freshman year? My nephew doesn’t live in CA, his family will relocate to CA for tuition purpose.
No you can only transfer for junior year
