I donât think ftt worked for early applicants. Just another confusing factor. one thing I know fs is that all early admits got forbidden and the sis portal.

My friend got into Yale early so he didnât turn in the extra supplemental for Spieker. Anyway he got not authorized because of that.
Everyone on discord is saying that the source code thing got patched, since it hasnât come out yet, is that true?
I applied Spieker and got forbidden, can someone explain the theory that no Spieker applicants would get unauthorized and they all got forbidden? I have seen this said by multiple people now.

I have a friend who applied MET, did not receive a video essay invite, and has ânot authorizedâ. I applied MET, received a video essay invite (did not get in), and have had âforbiddenâ + an ID for EECS since first checking Friday around 2 PM. A skeptic could say maybe anyone who recorded a video essay has an ID since there may have been some backend process behind video recording that required the creation of a student ID⊠but this seems unlikely as I do have another friend who applied to GMP, recorded a video essay (which I believe follows the identical format of the MET video essay), and currently has ânot authorized.â
To answer another question I was seeing above, I do also have a friend who applied Spieker and currently has ânot authorizedâ on his portal.
I think, if it is true that the FFT/FTT line in the source code has been patched and going off last yearâs thread, the only portal astrology indicators we have this year are Forbidden/Not Authorized and potentially the ability to log into Campus Solutions with an ID. (See this helpful google doc that was posted earlier for an overview: docs(DOT)google(DOT)com/document/d/1M9JrZbWJsGRE7CHVMgPbz83NZVUn-Rudk3s8vJVYx-Q).
Just going off last yearâs thread, there seems to be no reason to think Forbidden does not correspond with acceptance, and Not Authorized with waitlist/reject (since the withdraw form bug has allegedly been patched, there seems to be no way to tell between waitlist/reject either). Of course, it is all astrology at the end of the day so wait until Thursday for anything final, but I think if youâve checked your Forbidden/Not Authorized status, you have obtained all the relevant astrology information you can and you may as well try to distract yourself with something else more productive while you wait for decisions to release in 2 days. (Iâve also been struggling to keep my mind off all this but thatâs my honest advice).

I think we have a very similar situation. I applied for MET (EECS) and got the video essay invite but didnât get in. I also have âforbiddenâ and an ID so I hope portal astrology is right this year. I guess I just need to distract myself until they release.
Why Berkeley will allow this happen without fixing it for years?

If they released results with the other UCs it would be less evident as they would upload results then release them. Instead they upload results. Go on spring break. Release on IVY day bc they are an Anna be IVY. So the results are done likely 2-3 weeks ago and they force everyone to wait so smart computer peeps figure it out.
