does anyone actually think transfer regents will not receive an invitation but just directly get accepted? or are they waiting to invite people after decisions are out. either way I think it is irresponsible and shady for an institution like Berkeley to not even have information about this readily available, they should just say when or how it will be done. it is such a simple thing to do.

Umm…I think they will only directly accept transfers, IMO. I think that’s much better…

This thread has died. I-)

Because everyone has accepted that they won’t be finding out if they got accepted prior to the 25th. That’s what we were all hoping for.

@music1990 true…so nervous for friday.

@Otterpopp

Ahh I know me too! Good luck. No chance of finding out early any more :(

Beyond nervous. At least we can all be neurotic together :-*

@smashley93

I knowww but thank god it’s almost time. I remember when there was like 27 days left, and it seemed like so so so long. Now just four more days. I really hope it goes by quickly.

Right now my 5 hour midterm I have in anatomy on wednesday is distracting me but I know after that is over it is going to be terrible. Have u guys heard back from your other schools? Friday I got into UCLA and Davis

@Otterpopp

Congratulations! It must be easier now that you have gotten into UCLA.

I didn’t apply to UCLA but I got into Davis and UCSD. Doesn’t really help me feel any better though. Would you choose Cal over UCLA?

@Music1990 I don’t think I will be going to UCLA. Probably Davis if I don’t get into Berkeley. I work full time and can’t really leave my job. Also my permanent roommate is not gonna be down to move to LA. haha he said grad school yes but undergrad would not be ideal.

@Otterpopp

If you don’t mind me asking, why couldn’t you leave your job? Wouldn’t you still have to leave it if you went to Davis or Berkeley?

Permanent roommate? Lol I’m sorry I guess I just don’t understand all this.

@music1990 I live on my own and support myself so Ill need to continue to work through college and I like my current job so I really don’t want to find a new one. I will drop down to part time if I go to Davis or Berkeley but both of those schools are close enough to it that I could easily stay part time. They are actually closer than I commute for it now. I could transfer to the LA division of my company but the pay is a lot worse. I live with my boyfriend and we r in a long term relationship that Im not willing to end for college so I am trying to find a situation that accommodates both of us.

@Otterpopp

Ohh ok yeah that makes sense “permanent roommate” just didn’t click for me lol. Well I hope you get into Berkeley! Even though I’m sure Davis is a good school too.

Thanks! I hope so too. Davis is great but I really felt the connection at Berkeley

I wonder if we’ll even find out on decision day (april 25th), I think regents will come out after decisions. Sat I got into UCLA, but Berkeley is still my goal. dont want to move to LA right now

Is Berkeley not offering regents to transfers this year?

We think they are but instead of sending invitations, they’re just going to directly let people know they’re in.

@lamelcriada interesting, ok thanks.

so nervous for today!!
