I haven’t seen anyone post on this thread that they got off the waitlist but i am not sure if anyone has posted on reddit or other social sites…
I think people are getting off the waitlist, but they’re not posting anymore because they don’t really need to look at these things anymore.
Does anyone know if there’s a chance that they’ll take people off the waitlist on the weekend?
i 100% agree. i think theyre gonna take more people off the wl soon for cogsci, just gotta wait it out
not to rant or anything but wow this sucks lol ive been refreshing my email numerous times a day everyday for months now and i just feel so in the dark…davis is the only school that i have and this waitlist has put such a strain on my familys relationship with me as well i just wish we could start seeing some movement

i think the UC’s and the State of Calif have failed us on the waitlist.

I feel like Santa Barbara (a waitlist my kiddo was NOT on) hit it out of the park on admissions this year. They posted their date in advance, released original decisions when they said they would, and launched their waitlist early (and often). I wish the others had similar processes.

Yes, I have been most impressed with Santa barbaras admissions process and team. they have been A+ overall from communications to execution!

What days are waitlisted offers typically sent out? i’m loosing hope each day that passes by and there is no pattern since it is completely random. i really do hope that UC Davis can pull through with the waitlisted students.

I think they typically release their decisions on the week days, on usually Tuesdays. Don’t lose hope, just keep on believing!

We got off the waitlist 2 Tuesdays ago, but ultimately declined. D24 also has friends at school who got off other UC waitlists and subsequently unenrolled themselves from UCD, despite accepting in March. If UCD is your first choice, don’t give up hope! Seems there could be more movement in your favor. Good luck!

I know one friend that goes to my school who just got off the waitlist for Davis. I didn’t get anything yet. Is it over for me? They normally release all of the waitlist from my school at the same time right?
No they do not release waitlist admits based on your HS. They admit based on what spots are open. Until you get a denial, you can still be admitted.
Did your friend gat admitted today?
Yes he just got admitted this morning. I’m seeing on reddit that other problem got admitted too and I saw someone got admitted for computer science.
