Okay, all. By my count, waves have previously occurred every two weeks on a Tuesday and…here we are. Crossing all crossables for all of us still stuck in limbo today.

Cal Poly is a good school, but I absolutely hate their Admissions process. They send out acceptance letters to admits in early March, and don’t send anything to the denied applicants until the end of the month. Basically leave them twisting in the wind. Not mindful at all of the impact on the kids. Glad that your child is going to UCD and not Cal Poly.

(we have hopefully this tuesday and next). But losing hope since no one from cog science got pulled at UC Davis and it isn’t looking so good.
have you heard of other cogsci waitlists?
i’ve only saw people get pulled for cognitive science for UC san diego but i’m still on the waitlist for that school too

Do they send an update as rejected , if you are not approved of waitlist before June 30th.

Historically they have sent out denials before closing the waitlist.
Does anyone know someone who’s gotten off the waitlist for electrical engineering, and does anyone know if you can get off the waitlist with the alternative major?
I saw a couple of Cognitive Science admits on Reddit.

thats so weird because i usually see people asking about the program but not getting off of the cog science waitlist
I expect there will still be more movement given how many people are on multiple waitlists. My son recently gave up his accepted spot at Cal Poly when he got off the UCD waitlist.

Yeah, I don’t know what will happen in the coming days. I am waitlisted for mechanical engineering at Davis. Just hoping all of us can get off the waitlist!

Sorry, I don’t anyone who is waitlisted for meche. I don’t really expect that they’ll take too many people off the waitlist, but who knows? Just gotta be hopeful!
