Now that the waitlist is finally over, i would just like to say thank you for everyone who gave out information and helped people throughout the process. It was a fun journey, so thank you.

i just got rejected too, crying a bit. so disappointed, it’s hard after waiting so long

My son got rejected and we are happy that the wait is over. He committed to UCSC and going through Orientation now.

please submit an email to the chancellor’s office about this. they do read them. I use to work in higher ed and if the chancellor cares they will forward along to administrators. I agree its’ an outrage.

I appealed after I got waitlisted and then rejected to UC Davis. It is very rare but I want to know the timeframes on when appeal decisions are typically posted? @Gumbymom
I am not aware of any specific timeline for a waitlist appeal. The original application appeals took about 4 weeks for a decision.
