Do folks know what time of day UCD has historically pulled from their waitlist?

As we speak and dream… my D24 just got off the UC Davis waitlist! There was no email, she just checked the portal. In for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.

I just said ah screw it and ordered a pair of pajama pants from the university to which my kid has already committed. I like to think this sped up the process for all of us.

For last year with 5/1 SIR deadline, 1st post re: UC Davis waitlist was 5/9 2:23PM.

I’m pulling for all kiddos that are on waitlists…
For UC Davis in particular, my S24 and 1 of his friends are admitted & SIR’ed, but they are hoping a 3rd friend gets off waitlist.

Congratulations!!! How many days do you have to decide and have they completed your financial aid package to help in your decision?
OOS daughter got off the waitlist today in animal biology. Notification came via email. She is currently on a school trip so curious when she has to decide to accept.

One twin (S24 and S24) got off the WL today elsewhere, but the other awaits at four campuses (UCD included). Dang, if just one would break his way that would be sublime.

has anyone been admitted with majors in cog sci, psych, engineering today?
are there usually more waves or would all waitlists be chosen today
Unless someone works in admissions, there is no way to know. In 2023, there were several admit waves and in 2022 only 1 wave. Only time will tell.
