UC decision dates...

oh i think i figured out the ucsd tag thing. since im on the quarter system, its 3, not 2 courses from each sequence. so in reality it is pretty overwhelming… atleast to me. esp. when i was still trying to play around with the idea of diff majors by taking a wide range of courses. i dunno.

did you plan on doing tag from the start of your college ‘career’?

hmm i think you do get more classes in that way. for example… you have 3 sem / 1.5 years of calc total (you go up to calc3?) while we have 4 quarters / 1.333 years of calc (math1a-1d). same material. a little bit faster of a pace?

It’s midnite, no results for SB.

yep, nothing.

countdown?

eh, SB and SD don’t deserve a count down b.c nobody knows when they’ll post decisisons.

LA and UCB are still too far away. Everyone knows it’s the end of april…

best of luck to everyone.

why hasn’t there been any acceptances to SD after like the first two days?

i think we should do countdowns only Weekly. that will mean more.

because SD hates us… or maybe they release on a weekly basis?

Let’s all make a pack were we won’t check the UC websites for a week.

*pact .

“because SD hates us… or maybe they release on a weekly basis?”

If thats the case more should be out by noon today.

“Let’s all make a pack were we won’t check the UC websites for a week.”

Ha. Good luck with that. As a matter of fact I’m going to check right now.

SBs website is still down, whats up with that?

FYI santa barbaras website is up since this morning at 8am, no update for me, dont know about anyone else.

Rejected from UCSB. :frowning: :frowning: :(

That sucks, what are your stats? I thought they were more than good enough?

Poli Sci major. 3.29 gpa.

Here’s what it says on the site.

Your application for admission to UC Santa Barbara for Fall 2006 has been carefully considered. We regret that we are not able to offer you admission at this time. Admission for Fall 2006 was very competitive and we were unable to accept many qualified applicants. UCSB received 8,100 transfer applications for an entering class of 1400 new transfer students. We regret that we are unable to offer admission to all qualified applicants.

I think they are doing a batch once in a while so they would post a few thousands of decisions in each batch. I have been constantly checking the site, the only batch they did were on March 18.

I have observed that since I see many of us who haven’t got the result around March 18 still haven’t got their decisions.

awww…Coast, sorry to hear that :frowning: well, there are other schools that will offer you admission.

Um, heh. That’s the problem…I only applied to UCLA, UCB, UCSB, and UCSD. (Don’t ask why. :() There’s a very good chance I’m not going to have anywhere to go this fall. :frowning:

ugh.
