UC decision dates...

^ bahahhaha

willdo- thats a nice guitar man, Taylor’s are the best. 414ce? I had a big baby, loved it, and got a 314ce and love it too. U perform or just play for fun? (I play for fun/as a break from watever I’m doing which warrants some guitar playing- although I must say, I can get by around “real” guitar players)

Anyone still keeping track of the countdown? are there 25 days left?
Also, is it 4/28 for UCLA and 5/1 for UCB? Need to know b/c I’m making an alarm for it on ical. :D

F UCSD once again

Anyone else wanting to get a facebook account as soon as they hear from UCLA/berk?

I’ve been dying to get one for the last two yrs.

myspace is not my thing.

are you too ugly for myspace or what?

lol j/k man! yeah i’ve been wanting to see what facebook is all about for some time.

I’ve played in a few open mic coffeeshops but nothing major, mostly just for personal enjoyment. And yes it is a taylor 414ce! It’s the rosewood edition instead of the ovangkol wood. I love it! Funny thing is, I started out with a big baby as well!

Facebook can get addictive (that’s why there’s the deactivating option). I suggest having a REAL life.

facebook is more sophisticated than myspace. Also more private.

I go to a city college and I have a facebook account… They dont have them for all ccc’s but they do for most of them!

nice willdo- it takes balls to play in front of people who don’t already like you… no matter how you play. I kept my big baby around for fun… its nice to have two acoustics for when friends come around, its tough to get a balance between the electric and the acoustic, as I discovered from playing the baby with my les paul (epiphone, not the $3k gibson) U keep the big baby or trade it up?

What are the chances that if you do not get admitted to your first choice major, you’d get admitted to your second choice? The reason I ask is because I applied as a film production major at UCLA for my primary and a history major as my secondary. I don’t have all the prereqs for history, but I’m one or two short with a good GPA (3.83). Thoughts?

I was told by a UCLA rep that only TAP certified applicants are considered for their secondary major…this is why “over 95% of TAP/honors people get in.”

the 95% is for non-impacted majors though…i believe

Crap. Oh Well.

there are only 3 prereqs for history through ucla.

which community college are you going to tallkell.

no talktell, 90/92 smc students got in to ucla. that includes all majors.

i finally got acces to my financial aid letter from UCSB, and they are offering me way more then UCSD

the UCSD grant was 1990, while the UCSB grant is 5249

I am so happy, because now even in the worst case scenario i can afford to live there.

with federal and state/cal grant, my total UCSB grant is around 17k

WOOHOO! I got into UCSB. Math major with a 2.9 GPA

Darn… I finally see a math major here… hey buddy, me too math major!
What lower division courses have you finished so far?
