CaliGirl43 - did you apply for any summer internship programs at UCLA?

CaliGirl43…what are your stats?

talktell, is UCLA your #1 choice?

yes, it’s my #1…how about you?

Yes, UCLA is my 1st and 2nd choice.

Is berkeley your 3rd then…if ucla is your 1st and 2nd?

No, I didn’t apply to Berkeley. I think its UCLA or nothing for me.

no Kevin I didn’t apply for any summer internships or anything!

So I wonder how they got our e-mails.

the only thing I can think of is that my uncle is trying to help me get in, he has a UCLA scholarship named after him

Wow, what a great advantage! Caligirl, what CCC do you come from? and some stats?

I received that a month ago or so from a UCLA representative; here is the message:

"Hi all,

Intensive Transfer Experience program which I had
mentioned to most of you. Check it out! I encourage
everyone who is a continuing community college student
to apply. SITE is a 6 day residential program that is
absolutely FREE. If you have any questions or have
trouble accessing the link let me know (scroll all the
way to the bottom). Come by and visit
Just in
case the website is www.college.ucla.edu/up/cccp and
pass on the word to anyone that might be interested.

Joselyn Blanco
UCLA Center for Community College Partnership
Peer Counselor"

Note: It does NOT mean you are accepted or rejected; receiving that email got NOTHING to do with the admission decisions

hey man, that does not make much sense; how can it be 1st and 2nd choice at the same time?

I think it was meant as a joke

Yeah kevin101, it was verbal irony. :]

Hey Kevintech and tallkell, which schools have accepted you so far?

So far…2 for 2…

UCSD Warren
UCSB

Both for Communications

just UCSD.

Kevin101, how do you think they got our emails?

From our application… remember when you update the Fall grade for UCB or when you log into UCI or when you log in the UCSD decision site, it says something like this “your email (whatever that is)” is the main communication between the schools and you so please check your email at least weekly.

kevin101, your stats? your top choices for schoools?
