I guess what they say about UCI being more of a gpa-based school is true…
@metalmonk28 I in no way mean to be ignorant after you’ve just been denied, but can you post a screenshot or put what it says when you’re denied? Is it obvious? What does it look like? I feel like I’ve been denied but I just don’t see it.
@sc8305 I have your same feelings… =((
I would like to see how the rejection page looks like… :-??
@Luigi0928 @sc8305 I heard that all of the colored boxes disappear and there is just text on the page. I think thats what they said on last year’s thread anyway.
So is the next batch going to be rejections? Have people been rejected to Irvine yet?
Got waitlisted… what do you think the chances are?
@theMKNg don’t worry! I heard that UCI had a total of 1,400+/- people opt in for the waitlist last year and they admitted around 1,170 of them, so if you got into the waitlist there’s a very good chance you’ll still be able to make it!
so i got accepted in february to the honors program, but they didn’t mention anything about a scholarship in the admissions letter. Does that mean I didn’t receive any scholarship? Have scholarship decisions been released yet?
Rejected by UCLA, nothing from UCI. UCI and UCB are my last UCs
If I get rejected by UCI and UCB then looks like I’m going to a Cal state
Rejected by UCLA, really annoyed that I haven’t gotten anything from UCI yet
I know @EytchEnn . Ucla did in one hour what uci cant do in 5 days. I dont understand.
@Wafflepiezz Merced will offer you admission…
uci nursing doesn’t have a wait list but I’m wait listed. So does that mean i’m wait listed for my alt then(biological sciences). The major on my wait list is listed as nursing so i’m very confused right now. Help?
@mmeza14 I didn’t apply to UCM, UCR, and UC Santa Cruz because I thought I was going to be guaranteed admission into UCI or another UC like UCD , so it’s my fault if I’m going to have to go to a cal state as a last resort.
(Still nothing from Cal Poly Pomona either though)
@wafflepiezz They will offer you admission even if you didn’t apply. This is if you get rejected from all the UCs you applied to.
@Wafflepiezz: If you are ELC eligible (top 9% of your class or in-state) and you are rejected from the UC’s of your choice, you will be offerred admission at UCM if there is available room. Usually that is not a problem.
