Waitlisted from UCI and rejected from ucla.
Idk what I did wrong, tbh.
Can’t stop crying, but it’s cool though.
I heard a lot of students got waitlisted at all of the UCs (SD, SB, etc) because they don’t know how much money they will be receiving from the state government for this year. So if they get the extra money then they’ll accept a lot of the waitlist applicants.
Waitlisted for biological sciences…
I still haven’t heard anything… we should ban together and sue UCI for emotional distress haha

I wouldn’t consider myself lucky. But, at least I can enjoy my life again. No more waiting on a decision. Good luck to all of you who haven’t heard anything yet.

After reading the “Class of 2018” thread for the nth time, I really hope that my status doesn’t change today (March 21st). In fact, last year there were only rejections released, with the first one posted at 6:40PM (EDT). What concerns me the most is that applicants who got rejected on March 21st 2014 were highly qualified students! (1900-2000 SAT, 3.5-3.9 UCGPA and good ECs in general)
The first acceptance, after the batch of rejections, was posted at 7:41AM on March 22nd 2014. (http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/discussion/comment/17066217/#Comment_17066217)
And it followed a waitlisting at 11:12AM (http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/discussion/comment/17066979/#Comment_17066979)
Afterwards, many other rejections…
A batch of acceptances came out on March 23rd 2014 (http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/discussion/comment/17070574/#Comment_17070574)
tl;dr Rejections will likely to come out today and/or tomorrow. This year’s trend is identical to the last year’s one (Acceptances - Wait-listings - Will see today if rejections come out.)

Don’t assume rejection until you see one @worriedocollege I got accepted to ucla with a 3.23 UC capped GPA when the odds said i should’ve been rejected. You never know what will happen in college admissions. Good luck, and I hope we get in
