Still haven’t heard from UCI yet… pretty sure I’ll get waitlisted. I thought I had decent stats imo. Oh well, hopefully some people just put down uci as a safety and make room for us waitlisters…
@Core2Q i just got waitlisted with lower stats than you but for aerospace engineering

Still haven’t seen any rejections so far, so if you haven’t heard back, you’re probably rejected.
The next batch will probably have rejections and acceptances as well.
@Core2Q same. I think I’m going crazy seeing the same thing on my portal every single time I log in
UCI must know by now who is being denied/rejected and have probably known for quite some time. I accept that I will probably be denied. After looking at the purple boxes for long I don’t expect to be waitlisted either.
What is the reasoning behind waiting so long to send out the denied decision? Davis, SB and UC Santa Cruz were able to notify everyone of there status at one time or over the course of a few hours (SC). Why is that not possible for UCI? Don’t all UCs use the same admissions process? I really do not understand the point of the long wait at this point. What’s going on behind the scenes? Am I missing something?
@humanacidtrip I’m not too sure about that I haven’t seen a single psych major or criminology major on this thread accepted, waitlisted, or rejected…there are other majors that haven’t accepted anyone on this thread yet and there is bound to be at least one

Weird how so many people haven’t heard a thing and only few people have been accepted… I applied as a psych major and haven’t heard anything but I have a friend that got accepted as a psych major last Thursday… but then again there hasn’t been that many psych majors accepted
