Guys please don’t lose hope. I was in your position yesterday and everyone was like hey its ok stop crying but my reaction was just yeah you got in that’s why you say that but honestly now I look back it’s ok. IF I CAN GET IT ANYONE CAN GET IN. I’m OOS. Super low SAT and GPA but amazing essays backing up for my low stats.
I just hope more acceptances come out today

Slowly losing hope each day…
I would’ve given up by now, but all the students that I’ve talked to in my school haven’t gotten any anything for regular decision (not including chp). And we all have higher or about the same stats to accepted students. So there is still hope.
I got accepted OOS at 6:28am today. The thing is, I had no extracurricular at all, except for like. Going to the same program every Saturday for eight years or so. So anyone who also doesn’t have ECs can still get in. Don’t lose hope!
Major: Criminology (Though I do plan on changing it LMAO hope they don’t reject me because of that)

My essays were good enough, I guess. I took five AP exams in freshman year, and taking four this year. My real question is about financial aid. Is the portal for that open yet? This is my first time doing anything so I’m really lost lol. If I don’t get financial aid for Irvine, there’s no way for me to go. I heard their scholarships are not easy to get, so r.i.p.
