***UC Irvine Class of 2022 Applicants***

Is economics overpacked ?

What time are decisions are releasing and what day

After March 20th. There is no other information than that

They’re releasing decisions tomorrow, not sure on time I was hoping to find it on the thread, I have a feeling it’s going to be after SB, and SB releasing tomorrow at 3 pm PST so I think UCI will release at 4-5 pm tomorrow

http://www.oit.uci.edu/service-alert/a-note-to-undergraduate-applicants-attempting-to-check-their-admission-status/

It will be not earlier than Wednesday…After March 20 th implies March 21st this Wednesday

@Bean981 well it says they’ll send emails after tomorrow, so perhaps the decisions will be posted on the portal before emails are sent?

@Bean981 Since they wrote that they will start sending decision emails after March 20, and they usually send the email a day after the portal is updated, it is going to start rolling tomorrow!

UCI’s service alert is resolved! Get prepared guys!

@SmartGurl17 What does that mean?

@SmartGurl17 Yea what does that mean?

hey do you guys know if all 72 of the nursing students that they admitted already got their acceptances? I know one girl that got into nursing back in February.

@missblyn I read that criminology is a popular major at UCI

Do any of you know about how competitive cognitive science is? Did a lot of people back in February get accepted for this major?

Is UCI very holistic in their decisions process? Like they do care a lot about extra curricular’s?

Also does anyone have any good stories about people getting accepted to uci with a uc gpa around 3.7 and sat around 1300? Not those exact stats necessarily but primarily a low gpa and sat…

Is it true UCI is releasing tomorrow? 2 verdicts in just one day! SB and UCI get ready guys and best of luck everyone!! I honestly dont know how to cope with that

Is film an impacted major at UCI? Does anyone know?

Difference between UC and CSU system?

Did anyone get in for poli sci?? or anyone with a low GPA and ACT score???

@SweetCaliforniaWeather-12 UC is more competitive to get in, in general offers better opportunities after graduation, more prestigious. If you had difficulty getting in, I would suggest going to community college and then transferring to UC- from what I know, if you maintain a certain grade point average in a specific group of classes, you have almost automatic acceptance to most of the UC’s, and transferring from CC to UCLA/Berkeley is waaaaay easier than getting in straight out of high school. Just my two cents :D.
