@SweetCaliforniaWeather-12: Cal State Northridge, San Diego State, Loyola Marymount, Cal State Long Beach, Chapman College are good for Film majors in California.

@thedumbsmartguy232: For Biology/Pre-Med, any school where you can get a competitive GPA 3.7+, access to Medically related EC’s such as Shadowing MD’s and can help you prepare for the MCAT. Also, have a backup plan if you cannot get into Medical school with your Biology degree. I am partial to SDSU since they have a very good Pre-Professional advising center along with plenty of hospitals in the area.

Im a highschool senior from CA, can anyone quickly chance me for uci/ucsb biology?

Sat bio: 740
Sat math chem: 600s on both (i know rly bad)
ECs:
- took 3 biotechnology classes at local comm college
-Worked in schools sattelite team with NASA on designing and building CubeSats, used my biotech background here.
-National Finalist for Team american Rocketry Competition, out of over 800 teams, went to DC to compete
-Founder and President of Irvine HS Art Club, 4 yrs
-President of Environmental Science Club, this year
-Director of Biological Sciences for Scientastic
-Worked at the Discovery Cube for 2 years
-4 year member of Science Olympiad, medaled every year
-Marketing Design Team for the International March for Science in LA (the one in april last yrar that was on the news)
-Dancer for 10 years
-marching band 4 yrs
i’ll just be honest @101meha these chance me things are not good for you. see we are not the admissions officers, and we also don’t know as much about the school as the officers do. we could tell you that you have good chance at getting in and then you don’t and you feel bad because the college just didn’t have room. or we tell you you will get in and you get in but for your major…so yes i think you can make it but is that really very helpful, because i know as much as you and that at this point is not much

Hi everyone so it looks like decisions come out at 12PST tomorrow, I attached the link to the registrars website when it says their website become available to new students. So it would make sense that either the website becomes available at the same time or a few hours later.
Hopefully that’s what it means!!!
In february i was asked to send court documents for my financial aid…is this standard protocol or can this be taken as a good sign?
