Rumor has it they sent out too many honors college invites and are already rescinding people lol
guys chilllllll like I know its nervewracking trying to anticipate admissions but whether you get it today or tomorrow or next week, the result will be the same!! you can’t do anything to change your admissions status now so just hang on tight

@whathaveidone5 I see your point… it is smarter to rescind before letting out the decisions than after… although now we’ll have an excuse for our rejections :D!
I can’t plan for college visit with other choices without knowing the UCI decision. I know my DD will definitely go to UCI if she got admitted but I need to purchase airline tickets to visit UCSC, SFSU and SJSU and also registered to visit UCR. These are schools my DD is will consider if she didn’t make to UCI. If we can get decisions earlier from UCI or CPP or SDSU then she may not need to go to NorthCal.

Can anyone that lives near UCI go down to the office tomorrow and demand the release of the decisions?
Maybe this year’s class is just so brilliant and talented that we through the whole system out of wack and they can’t decide who to admit!
@jjkmom , I agree , I am trying to decide travel plans with my son to visit some of the schools in NorCal, but we may not go if we know UCI sooner, and flights during the spring break time is very expensive.

i think UCI is having such a long delay in releasing decisions is because of what happened last year. apparently, uci admitted 500 more students than they were supposed to, so a lot of my friends who were admitted got rescinded right before summer vacation ended, and uci is trying to make sure that doesn’t happen again
