***UC Irvine Class of 2022 Applicants***

Haven’t been notified by the portal too. Does that mean I’m rejected or still have to wait.

I feel like its random because I got accepted from UCSB and UCD but not From UCLA or USC. Still waiting for UBerk and Irvine here. Am i the only that hasn’t been notify?

the longer I wait, the more I feel like I have been rejected… Does anyone know when rejections are released?

I think there are still 2 more days for acceptances.

Hopefully Biomed for premed comes out tomorrow :slight_smile:

Can someone chance me?

Major: Biomedical engineering: Pre-Med

-Essays: I thought they were pretty solid. Wrote 1 about speech impediment that has affected me throughout my whole life and how I overcame that handicap. Wrote another one about my greatest talent (music) and how music has shaped me into not only a better musician, but a person and leader. Wrote another about involvement in my karate studio’s leadership program and how I taught kids. My last one was about the upward trend in my grades and how I overcame my learning curve.

So far accepted into SJSU (biological sciences), UCR (cell and developmental bio), and UCSD (human bio at Revelle). Rejected from CPSLO, UCD, and UCSB. Waiting for UCI and UCB.

I own an app company (mom here) and come on. I see all these computer science folks on here and I am thinking, Why can’t they get decent people to do the portal/system? This is not that complex. We work with over 650,000 users a day and have zero crashes and yes we do this miraculous thing called…work weekends…and I don’t even lift a finger as everything is done on the backend because we are set up for that automatically. It makes zero sense to have $6 million in app fees and not have an INCREDIBLE, admirable and kick tail system. Period. I hope one of you that goes there can start that type of program for the students in the future. Would take about 5 months to develop at most. UGH. Just had to get that out after witnessing this for the last 3 weeks.
Best of luck to all of you!

so uci hasnt released further acceptances since friday right?

@Katen1 I dont think so

waiting is awful, I feel like I am rejected, do you think acceptances are still coming out?

Does UCI financial aid release each admitted applicant’s information a week after they’ve been admitted? I wanna know the cost already.

@Katen1 Yeah, a lot of people with solid stats didn’t get into UCD this year :confused: I guess it’s just a selective school.

@nobiono That’s an interesting coincidence :slight_smile:

@orionary i got my ucsc unofficial aid package like a week after i got accepted, dont know how similar irvine is gonna be

Congrats to all who have been accepted to UCI. I am a proud mom today as my S was accepted to UCI for aerospace engineering. He has had a tough go of it as he was denied at UCD, UCSD, Cal Poly and of course UCLA. He has been accepted to San Jose State, San Diego state, Long Beach and now UCI. Very excited for him and anxiously awaiting his decision.

@orionary uci said they’re not releasing financial aid information until mid april

@winter04 But i thought they would give us an estimate or a general idea of what our financial aid would be like, like what other UCs did a few days or a week after we’ve been admitted.

got into UCI business admin…look at my threads for my stats/overview

@arimidd what r ur son stats?

@JaqueBear I’m on the same boat as you!

a friend who works at uci’s office of info and tech told me that ~2k acceptances were sent out on friday. idk how many uci usually accepts but if it’s more than 2k than there should be more acceptances to come

31,103 freshmen were admitted last year according to the UC website.
