kids how’s waitlist even an option if you are only going to find out in June if you are in or out and you have to decide with your other options by May 1st? Most schools (UCD) said they cannot assure housing and they suggested to accept if you have something else. Just curious. Also, those accepted don’t have to respond till May 1st and schools are likely not releasing from waitlist way past May 1st (given their efficiency - just wondering how you guys are considering waitlist as a option

S has no updates - UC GPA 4.16 ACT 35; 6 APs, great essays, tons of ECs. Already accepted into UCSC, UCD, UCSB, Emory, Northeastern and other private schools with good scholarships. UCI is full of itself 
@darnwaitlist you have to commit somewhere else and then afterwards if you get in from the waitlist then you can cancel your regristration from another school and sign up for regristration at the waitlisted school.
Anyone know why the only had one day of acceptance? How is 30,000 acceptances already released? Just curious

@CaliUSA7 they are 100% not done with acceptances. Someone earlier on this thread said that they will have two acceptance waves
