@vroomvroom24 oh lol sorry didn’t know that oops. what other schools did u apply to?
@vroomvroom24 if you are in to 9% you are guaranteed into one of the UC’s so check that out.
@cheungy8393 yeah i see where you’re coming from… but I’m just a little angry right now because i truly did work really really hard in high school to get the stats i got, and am discouraged because I’m going to end up at the same school as the kids who barely graduated
@cheungy8393 csulb, sdsu, slo, the ucs except riverside, merced, and sc. Made a mistake to not apply to ucr or ucsc lmao
rejected to all of the ucs I applied to, waitlisted to uci
@schlgurl I’m nowhere close to top 9%
So I guess no more acceptances or even answers today
@schlgurl: The ELC top 9% only guarantees UC Merced if spots are available, not your choice UC.
@EatMyAnteaterUCI omg i feel you. i got into cal poly and csulb and ucr and i feel like i worked to hard to go to these schools.
act: 32
gpa: 4.25 weighted
sat math 2: 720
hecka extra curriculars and 300+ community service
Why would they just skip a business day…
@EatMyAnteaterUCI no i get it completely but don’t cut urself short until everything’s finalized and tbh maybe it’s better to go to a less competitive undergrad and be the top of ur class than struggle to try and “make it” at a more comp. school? either way, congrats on working hard in hs and i hope u get everything u rightfully deserve!
,\i
this is ridiculous…just tell me im rejected already
@EatMyAnteaterUCI Just because you go to a CC, doesn’t mean you are going to a place filled with “kids who barely graduated”. Going to a CC could mean many things. Personally, I think it’s rude to downplay CC like that. It’s not about the stats you got. I got a 1310 SAT and a 3.875 UC GPA and was accepted as a Cognitive Science major.
Has anyone been able to log into their “my aid” tab on the bottom of their portal under “whats next?”

@KingWavvyyyy yeah I’ve been able to do that for a while
@EatMyAnteaterUCI Also accepted at UCSB and UCR. Waitlisted at UCSD. Rejected at UCLA. It’s not all about the grades. And I talked about what makes me, me, in my essays. Provided insight into the AO.
Since February 9th I think, that’s when I got an email saying my information was updated
The only downside to going to a CC is that you have to start this process all over again and having to wait until april to hear a decision. I mean sure you can “save” up money, but you can also do that too while attending a UC. In the end, most of that money you made attending a CC will go down the drain if you decide to attend a UC anyways… imo
@KingWavvyyyy Yes, you log in with your regular UCI ID and password in the financial aid portal.
