@thingshappen@aweinst@Meap433@ew4colleges@lilaclily@glenwads thanks for your answers guys! you all hav an amazing college choice! congrats! Wishing you all the best and good luck for your first year. My advice is to take every opportunity there and enjoy your time in and outside the class and make your unique college experience a memorable one!
I’m opting for CSUN or SDSU, ruling Irvine and Berkeley out!
@SweetCaliforniaWeather-12 probably UCSB for my kid but choosing btwn UCD and UW Seattle at the moment. You have a great attitude and will do well wherever you go - SDSU and CSUN will both be great options. Plenty of kids wanted and didn’t get SDSU this past week and it is a great campus and location.
@meb1meb1 thank you! :)) your feedback is so appreciated and I’m glad that I’m on the right path and ready for the right move! CSUN is closer to Hollywood and the film industry so I’m considering that! anyway, one of these 2 schools :)) good luck to your kid!!!
My DD is still waiting to hear from UCI but the way things are going I honestly would not want her to go there. The fact that a bunch of applicants already know of their acceptances and waitlists etc. yet the school still has not gotten their mess together to inform everyone is just ridiculous. They seem way too disorganized for me to want my child to go there for four years, but obviously, if she really wanted to go, I would let her because it is ultimately her decision. At this point she is choosing between Santa Clara, Tulane, SDSU and possibly UW where she is waitlisted so we may go visit Seattle in the next couple of weeks. Just for reference, she got rejected from UCSB, USC, Wash U, UCLA and was waitlisted at UW, Cal Poly, U of Miami and UCD and was accepted to UCSC, Santa Clara, USF, Tulane, Chico, CSLB, SDSU, Sonoma State, Boulder and Univ of Oregon. She is majoring in Psych, minoring in Art and stats are 3.83 UW, 4.00 W, 6 Aps, decent ECs, good essays.
@SweetCaliforniaWeather-12 Nice! A lot of my friends are going to probably go to CSUN since it’s somewhat close to my high school. I have heard great things about it. Yeah, I’m totally nervous and anxious about Berkeley. I can’t believe we will know tomorrow
@NorthernCali Man, the visit to UDub is SO worth it. It’s a beautiful campus. I went there over the summer and the weather was so nice. The campus was beautiful as well. Can’t go there because of the OOS cost, but if you guys can afford it and manage to get off the waitlist, I’d 100% recommend it. UW is on its way to the top, definitely worth going to
To be clear - just got off the phone and there are no more “waves” of acceptances. There may be more offers but not in a Wave per say. Rejects will roll en mass on Friday.
@lilaclily good to hear positive feedbacks on csun! it makes me want to to there !!! you guys know more than me when it comes to CSU or UC.
it is easier to win the lottery than getting accepted to Berkeley arghh
