***UC Irvine Class of 2022 Applicants***

I hope they start accepting off the waitlist/appeals on Monday. This is my last chance to get into a UC.

@embth7 samee! do you think they’ll be accepting transfer and freshman waitlists on different dates?

they will probably be different dates since the transfer SIR deadline hasn’t even passed

I dont get how transfer deadlines have anything to do with freshmen getting their waitlist notifications. Transfers would be part of class of 2020 right? Shouldn’t affect the freshmen waitlist.

They’re two different classes, I wouldn’t think they would affect each other. v(._.)v

I love the college vibes I get here! Before touring, I was regretting not getting into other UC’s, but honestly I hate the quiet lonely place vibes. I feel extra safe at Irvine lol and it’s HUGE!

GUYS IM SCARED! SOMEONE IN THE OTHER THREAD SAID SOMEONE GOT OFF WAITLIST?! ARE THEY LYING OR NO?! :((

I think we would have heard of more than one person getting in

I just went to my financial aid page, it was complete before but they’re suddenly requiring me to fill out more forms. I still haven’t gotten in yet, but I think this is a good sign.

@embth7 I just checked and I got it too! I hope its a good sign lol

how do u go to ur financial aid page lol

@nobiono not sure if links are allowed but I’ll dm you.

oh yikes mines complete i think @vroomvroom24
but that could be bc im not eligible for the aid?

Idk @nobiono , maybe?

I got the forms too but is it really a good sign? I am kinda doubting it.

@nobiono are you a resident? if not maybe thats why. I am a resident and my fafsa is complicated so I think thats why

@galonso01 i’m a resident! idk why but it says everything’s completed. then again i didnt need to fill out anything more for other schools either cause i didnt get any aid lol

yeah maybe thats why I qualify for a lot so im sure they’re verifying everything etc making sure I actually qualify

did anyone else not get that update in their aid portal?

Where are we supposed to look if we need more forms or not
