@idontknow42 I messaged their chat support on Tuesday and they sent me a link to a place where you can file an appeal for having been denied even with TAG. I’m still waiting to hear back.

I’m super curious to see who got in this year as well. I wish someone who got accepted would post here saying it and their stats already lol. Good luck to you for next year then! I’m super scared to go through the whole process again so I haven’t decided but at least you made up your mind on what to do with all this. I’m thinking I might just go with the debt 
Guys just a general question. Is Data Science major super competitive at UCI? I see a lot of people getting rejected with 4.0s
Does anyone know where to pay for the SIR? I’ve heard different answers of it being added to the fees for fall quarter and also people saying that they have paid it. I went through the steps when I was submitting the SIR, but I was never asked to pay (and to my knowledge, didn’t receive any financial aid for it). On my portal, it says " SIR Status: Positive SIR - Intends to Register." I’ve messaged UCI admissions as that’s the only way of contacting them, but due to the load of messages they are receiving now, I figured it would be best to try to get an answer elsewhere.

Received acceptance packet today, April 24 (two weeks after portal acceptance)
Packet includes: hard copy of acceptance letter, page of stickers, next steps flyer, and banner that says #futureanteater (the back shows a ‘road map’ of next steps).
I’m worried that none of my packets are coming I’ve received one so far and it’s fr UCSC but UCR accepted me before that and they still haven’t sent me one:(
UCR takes a while to send out their packets. I was accepted on first wave but got the packet like a little over 3 weeks after.
I never hear back from UCI regarding my admission so far, am I being rejected, but they never post updates on my portal

Hey everybody!!! So after getting rejected by UCB and UCLA & getting accepted into UCSB, I’m going to SIR to UCI! I’m so so excited!!!
Have you had to pay for your SIR yet? I submitted mine and never had an option to pay, have been trying to figure out how to pay it but no answers yet.
