Hey everybody!!! So after getting rejected by UCB and UCLA & getting accepted into UCSB, I’m going to SIR to UCI! I’m so so excited!!!

Have you had to pay for your SIR yet? I submitted mine and never had an option to pay, have been trying to figure out how to pay it but no answers yet.

I did not have to pay anything!!!

Hey everyone, I’ve been browsing / refreshing the forms most of the day today, I just made an account to ask a question.

So I’m transferring from a local CCC into the Psych major. I have a 3.68 gpa and I completed the TAG / Honors program at my school. I’ve also applied to UCLA

I was rejected today even with TAG certification, did this happen to anyone else? Can I still be rejected even with TAG? Is there a way of confirming if my TAG was denied?

I have a few prior transfers which I used to fill out a few requirements (my counselors applied the CC credits for these courses).

Any ideas?

I did TAG as well and got rejected today. I did all the required classes. I dont know why I got rejected. Let me know if you find anything out. I would like to know why I got rejected even after TAG!

After being redirected to a form for reported declined TAGs by the support chat, I was retroactively admitted.

I just have a question. Did everyone here apply for financial aid? Is it not common to not apply for financial aid? I forgot to apply for it because I thought it is not for international students.

Hey yall, does anyone if you can switch majors after getting accepted? I was accepted for computer engineering but was wondering if I could switch to computer science and engineering instead. The computer engineering major actually looks to be more competitive than the other one and they are similar enough so would I be able to change?

@TheEnkidu I think you can’t do it since both majors are impacted Computer engineering is the Henry Samueli and comp sci and engineering is in Donald Bren. if that major was part of Donald Bren school you were able to change your major but now since they are two different departments you would have a hard time changing your major and I think that it’s almost impossible.

I was admitted to Business Administration as my first choice major when they release the admission, however, it was changed, I believed, in the next couple day to business economic. And I have read comments about people wants to go to Business economic rather than Business Administration. So anyone wants to appeal with me?

Did anyone else receive a scholarship email ? I never applied for UCI scholarships and just received an update that I received the Chancellor’s Excellence Scholarship. It guarantees housing and gives a generous amount of funding per year. It says to SIR by May 1st tho ???

I received a scholarship email too but different from yours. But basically it says the same thing as you posted. I’ve also never applied for that.

Hi, I was admitted into Business Administration, but I got switched to Business Economic which is my second choice major, so I wonder if we can contact the school together to switch our major back.
