yeah, Zot aid portal login is a tell.
Iād like to know if it changes, either:
- To no access for everyone, later today (means they locked it out after seeing this or other threads), and
- To access by those currently locked out (means site was being updated, and credential link had not yet been made for those applicants).

Iām an in-state applicant with Weighted GPA at about 73% of UCI accepted middle pack based on 2024 UCI admissions statistics. Yes, I did applied for FAFSA even though I know Iām qualifed for ONLY merit based scholarships but I donāt think such ONLY merit based scholarships exist at UC. Below are screenshots of what I see when logged into FA portal and accepted the Consent To Release Financial Aid Info. Donāt know whether it means anything regarding the actual admissions decision or a sign that admissions decisions will release today or soon or not. Yes, I still have the Withdrawn Syndromeā¦oops I meant Withdrawn Button. LOLZZZ

It is still true that some people donāt have access to the link in the first place. Also, I think the financial aid website thing is in some way related to admission (whether it is accepted/rejected or whatever), because I only had access to the same portal of a different university after getting admitted there. Of course we canāt be sure about anything, but it is also difficult to say that financial aid thing has nothing to do with admission either. It isnāt healthy to obsess over such āsigns,ā but portal astrology is one way to deal with college admission anxiety, soā¦ Whether the results come today or whenever, hope you have good results too.

tried the fin aid portal and spread to my friends. many qualified students were able to open it, one very qualified student i know couldnāt, and a couple of others couldnāt open it. not sure what this means just trying to contextualize. i could open it as well and i did NOT do fafsa, unsure about the others.

I donāt do fafsa either, and I have access to the link. I also asked some very qualified friends with good gpa and ecs, and they had access to the link too. Donāt know what this means either, but with previous experience of getting admitted to another uni and accessing similar portals, I think Iām just guessingā¦?
