<p>Okay, I’m confused about whether you have to do something beyond admissions application for UC merit money. Am I right that the Regents has no special app and they contact you? Do others (Alumni or other) require special app or do they just contact you at some point based on your admissions application? Are deadlines coming up?</p>
<p>The individual UC’s contact you if regarding Regents, Chancellors and Honors (UCI has something called CHIP.) You don’t need to complete anything for consideration. Each of the UC’s is independent regarding those awards and each offers different amounts of money.</p>
