Daughter rejected. In state. 4.27 capped. 4.41 uncapped. Human Biology major. Not one of her top choices so she’s ok but a little surprised she wasn’t waitlisted.

Accepted! When can we learn about scholarships? Do not see anything…

Scholarships should be posted with your decision.

S25 accepted as undeclared major (applied to Aero and Mech). Not sure what this means. There’s much FAQ and information on undeclared major at UCSD but looks like it’s uncertain in the end. Any pointers if UCSD has a large undeclared admitted population. Do UCLA and Berkeley have large undeclared admits as well?

Still waiting for our son for CS at UCSD… Weighted GPA for yours?

Being accepted Undeclared means he did not meet the admission threshold for his listed major but they offered him admission as Undeclared. If he wants to switch to Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering, he will have to go through the Selective major process which is not guaranteed. I have linked the process: Selective Majors for Continuing Students

He however to change to a non-selective major much easier from Undeclared.

D25 in the same boat. Wanted Mech E / REEF or Mech E, got her preferred college but undeclared. Will have to make the call once more sure-thing Mech E options are on the table, perhaps at other schools

Did he check the portal? All decisions should be posted.

D25 got accepted into a non-selective major (her second choice), butin the past months, she has changed her mind about her major. I see that there is a Change Your Major button on the portal. Her interest is still in a non-selective major. Does anyone know what the evaluation process for non-selective majors is? Is it pretty much automatic?

Son on waitlist for math major at UCSD. Anyone knows what is the chance to get off the waitlist?

If admitted and plans to enroll, then she just pick the non-selective major from the Change of Major button. It should take a couple of days to process.
