got me feeling a little worried, is ucsd using their waitlist at all?
only 20% of admits commit though so it should move
that is true, hopefully it’s not like 2021 where they took no one off the waitlist
i think every UC has taken people off so i’m going to assume there’ll be a wave within the next three days

maybe they’ll release on a wednesday since they released on a wednesday for out of state? also do they release by major?
But they know this, so they admit 5x more applicants than they have space for (or whatever theyve decided is the formula that’s most likely to get them to their target yeild.

someone called and said they are still analyzing the data and it can come in waves.

Do they usually release in the am or at a particular time of day?
our first wave (oos) was around 4pm
