looks like next week it is
Why is undeclared risky ?
Because you might not be able to get the major you want especially if it’s impacted
Only risky if the student wants to change to any selective major since there is no guarantee that they can change.
seems like several UCs have already started pulling in state students off the waitlist… ucsd taking its time
@Gumbymom Any news on the appeals movement from any UCs ?
Some students got denials for their UCSD appeals on April 25. I have not heard about any appeal decisions for other UC’s.
Thanks for your response. If we haven’t heard back, could that mean they are considering us ? Why would some students get denials and not all ?
Appeals are reviewed on a case by case basis and schools do not set aside specific spots for appealing students so the timeline to review will vary and student enrollment data is taken into consideration when determining if the appeal will be approved.
do you think waitlist acceptances are going to be spread out rather than one wave per week? cause that’s what I’ve been hearing for some in state students the past two weeks.
i feel like it’s a 50/50. i see what you mean but on the other hand ucsd is being different lol
UC Davis
hopefully there’s a wave tomorrow
i wouldn’t count on it, since i think they’re known to only do fridays
i think the only time they did that was last year, all the other years were different days
wait yeah you’re right but i’ll go with the most recent year as a basis for estimations
lol is anyone down to call, i saw people did for berkeley
We also got a rejection on appeal.
Bummer… hopefully there’s still some good news out there for us in the same boat.
Sorry to hear that. When did this come ?
