i think its over for us chat
Where did you get this from? Does this mean no wave on friday? No more until after July?
one of my friends on discord called the UCSD admissions office. doesnāt mean there wont be a wave on friday, but it looks like itās not looking good
when did they call
trying to be optimistic here, but by data I doubt they fully looked into who and which majors are full and such. thatās probably what they meant by data, I have various classmates who declined their waitlist offer and there are people choosing different schools as they get off the waitlist. Each admission officer says something differently, so letās all just be patient
they say this to everyone who asks about the waitlist though; back before may even started i went and asked and they just said wait until may 1st and july 1st for the biggest deadlines, but that doesnāt mean the waitlist doesnāt have waves between then, especially based on waitlist patterns from past few years. i think they just tell every applicant who asks that itās a waiting game and the big dates where they have new info/spots to look at are may 1 and july 1
itās unlikely admissions would tell anyone asking if they are or arenāt gonna have another friday wave
Has anyone recieved an offer for sociology? I canāt seem to find anyone online that did.
I guess thats true
just wanted to let you guys know that my appeal to get back into the waitlist was denied. hopefully iāll see you in a year or two!
Iām so sorry
anyone get off for biochem yet?
sorry to hear this!
All the best for your future⦠you will succeed wherever you are going
Hi.. anyone go off the waitlist for structural engineering or other engineering majors?? please respond
I havenāt seen any engineering majors yet. My son is also waiting for EE. Praying itās this Friday!
Has anyone gotten off for an international majors such as International Business or International Economics?
My daughter is on the waitlist for aeronautical eng and so far crickets. My sense is that engineering waitlist kids are rarely pulled, particularly at top UCs. Itās not unheard of, but itās uncommon.
Has anyone gotten off for Environmental Systems with a focus in Earth Science or Politics with the Scripps Institute of Technology?
