I’m a chemistry major but I plan on doubling in human bio. My bio sequence covers bild 1-4 I think but one of my two classes alone doesn’t cover any of them.
@jazzzyjam thanks, i sent an email to the guy in charge of the Ulink program, I still have until friday to drop from the class, so I think I’m gonna wait to make sure it’s not going to affect my admission.
You can continue to make corrections to your FAFSA until like next year. Obviously some people get tax extensions. You won’t receive aid until you’ve filed your taxes.
Humm I’m not going to be able to take Electricty and Magnetism in the Physics series before transfer (Summer class schedule just came out) hopefully Mechanics transfers in without the rest of the series…

Yeah, same main page, the email links for updating parent email and whatever disappeared for me, i’m pretty sure it disappeared for you too since your message changed

The Housing Office currently does not have updated information on your Admission Status and therefore cannot accept a housing application today. You may come back to this link once Admissions has communicated their decision on your application to UC San Diego. You can check this by logging in at myapplication.ucsd.edu.

Major: Math
UC GPA: 3.8 with winter session grades, otherwise 3.77 if they don’t count the winter grades.
IGETC: Done- finished fall semester
Pre-reqs: Done- Did all the pre-reqs when I was in high school

@tintinucd alright, you got this since your major is non-impacted and your gpa is high for that major. also keep in mind that ucsd primarily focuses on gpa. so im pretty sure you’ll get in!

gpa: 3.79 (3.81 with winter)

pre reqs: all done but 1 (but lots of ppl get in with missing pre reqs for econ)
personal statement: 8/10
in the honors program( apparently ucsd really likes it), ptk member, 1 internship, 2 part time jobs

@trnsfrstdnt Thanks! I’m really hoping so! This school is my number 1 choice right now D:. And wow you have good stats too! I’ve seen people from previous years get into econ with a lower gpa than yours and with missing pre-reqs, so you have a very good chance! Not to mention your extracurriculars and honors program, you got a really good shot!
