Does anyone know if it’s possible to transfer into engineering? I got in for my alt which I’m actually missing a lot of classes for, although I had all the requirements for bioeng.

@Doisys it’s possible but you have to take some coursework and have exceptional grades. It’s not guaranteed. If there’s no spots there’s not much that can be done.
Anyone from this batch get the regents scholarship? Is UCSD sending out any more of them?

Hi I got waitlisted for an Urban Studies and Planning major. I was just wondering, for those of you who too got waitlisted, were you asked to write an essay to verify your spot on the waitlist? Or did you not have an essay option at all?

@ttop220 yep! they thought i didn’t fulfill the minimum UC requirements since they forgot to look at the courses i satisfied with my AP credit! i explained the situation and everything and they ended up accepting me 
@friedchips Congrats! I was waitlisted (UC-UC transfer). Do you think I could ask them why I wasn’t accepted on that form from “Contact us”? Or should I call tomorrow?
@nishaap San Diego is a retirement city. I wouldn’t go to UCSD expecting excitement. Expect a slow paced 15 under the speed limit on the freeway, take it easy kind of environment.
San Diego isn’t a retirement city, La Jolla is little more slow paced,you just have to go out to PB or downtown SD where its more fast paced.
