@FuturePAinCA it was a person in my same major and college, just calling to ask if I had any questions, if I was going to Triton Day, and if I was likely to SIR.
I’ve actually already SIRed to UCLA, but it was a really nice touch!!
Lol I visited UCSD with some friends yesterday and met up with another friend that actually goes to UCSD.
And I was afraid because I’ve heard so many times that the place was socially dead.
It’s true the school really is socially dead.
Not only that, but it is a pain in the A** to go around campus mainly because the campus is so big. It’s like its own city.
Even my friend that goes to UCSD recommended me not to attend and that he thought the campus was really depressing because it’s so dead and very little activities and stuff going on.
Not trying to be biased or anything here.
Just telling it how it was when I visited.
Looks like I won’t be attending UCSD. :\

Got my mail packet today! I live in LA.
i also got my packet.
is anybody here considering staying another year at cc for ucla or ucb?
^ran out to check the mail after that LOL didn’t get it yet and i live in the bay area
this is what the packet looks like, it’s pretty big, about 16in to 13in. really thin since there’s only a certificate, a letter, a one thin book about living on campus and the other is the triton cut out. so the packet has a picture of the triton( the same one u see when you got admitted online) outside and when you open it it says congrats with a poster of the ucsd library. i hope this gave a good visual for you guys and also for next year’s applicants.
Weird, I live in San Diego and didn’t receive mine in the mail yet. I think it’s because I declined my offer of admission a few minutes after I got accepted lol

I’m deciding between UCSD and UCI and I just want to hear some input. I hope to visit the campuses soon
My choice was either UCSD or UCSB.
After visiting UCSD yesterday with my friends, I have decided for sure I’m not going to UCSD.
Even my friend that goes to UCSD told me not to come because it’s just too socially dead and depressing. He says he regrets not going to UCSB.
I couldn’t see myself going to UCSD either it’s just eh… the whole mood is pretty boring and depressing to me.
So if I don’t get into USC, I am definitely going to UCSB!

@sliceoflife24 The stereotype for UCSD being a socially dead school is VERY ACCURATE.
I thought it was just people being over dramatic, but it’s true sadly.
Got my admission package today. It is so pretty
