Any Psych BS majors that have been accepted?
Thats what Ill be applying for this fall my GPA is around 3.5 after this spring semester. I believe I will finish all my pre reqs for UCSD since Im taking Java Programming and Stats during the summer. And my last calc & chem sequence in fall. I looked over everyone’s stats but haven’t really seen any psych majors just curious 
Pretty sure UCSD admits to the school not by the major. You could be the only person applying for phych and still not get in if your GPA is below 3.4ish

Hey guys, I was looking at my contract for UCSD and saw this:
- Complete at least 60 semester or 90 quarter UC transferable units by the end of Spring term 2015 with an overall UC grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.00.
- Remain in good academic standing in your last regular term with at least a 2.00 GPA for UC-transferable course work for that term.
So the condition is that I maintain a 2.00 GPA for the current, Spring 2015 semester and an overall GPA (including Spring 2015 with everything else) of 3.00, correct?
I am a freshmen at a UC that is currently planning on transferring for 2016 Fall to UCSD.

I know you apply with your freshmen year grades, but need to update the school with sophomore fall quarter’s grades. Do they review the application with just Freshmen year GPA or with the Sophomore year’s fall quarter grades included?

I am taking CC classes over the summer. Will the grades I receive at CC be included in the overall GPA that I will be applying with or separately?

How can I tell that the classes i am taking at CC over the summer will count as a UC GPA?

Guys… I just got into UCSD from the waitlist!! I thought it was coming after June 1st? Not complaining though haha. My major is molecular biology. Already SIR’d to UCLA though

I went to a UCLA conference a couple of weeks ago and a UCSD admissions rep was there too. She told us that all biology majors were “open” to transfers and not impacted. I think that’s why us bio majors got our waitlist decisions early.

Anyway, thank you!! My GPA is 3.33. IGETC and all prereqs completed except 1 physics and 1 ochem class.
