I would advise you to go where you’re happiest. Both schools are good and hold prestige. If you’re happy at UCSB, then you’ll be able to feel more comfortable in getting involved and going places. It’s all about social networking. Go for UCSB if you can’t see yourself studying at UCSD

FINANCIAL QUESTION!!!
Does anyone know if UCSD offers insurance and if it is ever paid for under “aid”? The other UC’s all had insurance as a line item in my financial package and it was about 3500 difference. This is important to me. My UCSD package does not have this listed.
