@Herbidot April 26th at 4:05 pm I received an email saying there was a status update in my portal .
They sent all of them out on the same day. They don’t do rolling admissions.

@rogercraig use this link to gauge your likelihood for each uc campus! it’s not the be all end all, but it’s very insightful to say the least. hopefully this info helps you

Ok…so it’s Mar 3. I heard you can hear about transfer anytime from now to April 30…keep us updated if anyone hears.
@debbiedfw Not UCSD. You will not hear back until mid to late April.
@rogercraig Have you taken transferrable computer science courses? I had all of the math/science prereq’s done but got waitlisted (unsuccessfully) with a 3.9 last year. Turns out the school I was going to was just deficient in terms of available CS specific courses…
@CSDegreePlease , for what it’s worth, my son took classes at three different CC’s in our area in order to get the classes he needed. I know not everyone has three CC’s near them, so I get it that not everyone can do that.
I guess I’ll chime in!

So the UC Transfers by Major website says that the GPA range they show is the 25th to 75th percentile of admitted students, where 25% of admitted applicants had below the lowest value and 25% had above the highest. My GPA is slightly below the lowest on the range for my major so I’m hoping this means i’m ok… anyone know anything about this?
It’ll be harder than usual to get in for you so it’ll just depend on your essays and EC’s; the most important factor is always GPA for transfer applicants
@sbpbs2020 Since your GPA is roughly in the 25th percentile, if you get in, then about 75% of the admitted applicants will have a higher GPA, ASSUMING the GPA range would be relatively similar to last year’s, but it may be more competitive this year; this means the odds are a bit stacked against you. Hopefully your PIQs and ECs can help bolster your chances.
Decisions come out on the 24th, anyone know what time?
How do you know that?
