I thought Berkeley is ranked #2 in Astrophysics. Why would you reject UC Berkeley?

My daughter got off the WL today at 4:17pm for biology. She is IS and is going to Cal so will say no to UCSD. Good luck everyone.

I am assuming a after 7 days from today as they will need to know wait to see who accepts from the current wave to determine how many slots are remainingā€¦

I should say that my previous answer depends on if they accepted waitlists for all their departments. If they are doing by school or department it could be earlierā€¦

My daughter also was accepted today for PoliSci. But will reject as she was accepted to UCSB last week and is beyond happy about it.
But these acceptances are a boost, as she was so down on herself this past month. Good luck to everyone
