Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone knows historically when the waitlist is likely to close. And will they notify families? We are waiting and wondering how long it could go. Thanks!
2023 waitlist closed June 23 and 2022 waitlist closed June 10 although SIR deadline was May 1 those years vs May 15 for this year.

D24 accepted off waitlist at UCSB per email at 3:04 PM today. Undeclared Letters & Science (this was her requested major). In state (Northern California). However, she is set for UCSD (her #1 choice after campus visits). Will be declining UCSB.

are you considering on accepting the offer? i’m so unsure!! 
i think so cause i’m in-state and got into my first choice major! the other option i have is uw, which i got in for pre-science (applied for neuroscience)

Hi everyone, I’m just curious if we think UCSB is still taking people off the waiting list? It’s going pretty late this year…
Hard to tell. I know UCSB will start mid September. However Cal just closed its own, so many opt to stay their original choice.
