Yes, the UCSB admission counselor told me yesterday that they are still pulling students off the waitlist. Good luck everyone

Is the grant she received from FA or merit scholarship? Is she OOS?
After lookikg at it again, it is part of our financial aid package. We are in-state
My son got off waitlist yesterday, pre-biology major, 5/15 decision deadline. He is also on UCSD waitlist, no any news, still waiting.

Did he receive an email yesterday or did he just happen to check his portal? It is unusual for admissions decisions to come out on a Sunday.

Is there a day where we think a bulk of decisions will be posted?
No specific date and it could be a few decisions rolling out over the next few weeks or months. It varies from year to year and dependent upon how many spots are available.

I think there’s a strong chance there will be a wave on Friday as they reevaluate the people who have or have not paid deposit

I’m fascinated by UCSB’s early movement here…none of the other UCs seem to have gone to their WLs yet (as far as I can tell, anyhow).
UCI took some Engineering majors off their waitlist on April 18 but nothing since.

Son just emailed me from school today - he got accepted off the wait-list. He received an email. Political Science major. Already committed to Davis and is likely to stay with Davis now…too far along mentally with roommates already at Davis. SB was his #1 but after being waitlisted, he decided to take control over his decision.
