Waitlist decisions are not on any set schedule. UCSC will start admitting if they fall short of their target enrollment numbers and since many schools have not yet sent out FA packages, it could be after the SIR deadline.
My daughter is admitted at University of Oregon and waitlisted at UCSC. Her major is film (cinema studies). Does anyone know anything about the film program at UCSC? She thinks she might have a better overall college experience at U of O, but the film program at UCSC has a great reputation. Any feedback or info would be appreciated.
Has anyone heard of anyone getting of the waitlist yet? Weāre waiting anxiouslyā¦
I have seen 2 admits posted on Reddit (I take Reddit posts with some speculation) and they were for Winter quarter which is what UCSC started offering last year.

If i have under a 3.0 UW 3.2 Weighted gpa senior year will i be rescinded? I have a gpa near that for my overall gpa (3.3)for hs so itās not a huge fall off and Iām passing everything but i got a couple Cās this year

does anybody know if ucsc is giving the option to submit SIR by June 1 if kids havenāt received FAFSA info yet? if so, then big waitlist movement may be after that and not may 15.
Pretty sure they were all committed to 5/15.
