3.54, 4 W’s, F retaken for a B. Are my chances of getting into a UC tarnished by my academic performance? The W’s have nothing to do with my major but unfortunately the F is a pre-requisite course. I have 3 schools in mind. UC Berkeley (which I would major in Sociology and also my F was in Sociology 101 but when I retook the class I discovered a passion for the subject), Cal Poly Pomona (which I would major in Economics), or Cal Poly Slo (Economics OR Sociology). I know my majors seem like polar opposites but I enjoy each subject regardless of the negative stigmas attached to them. I live next to CSU Stanislaus and am pretty much guaranteed acceptance since the GPA and course requirements are very low. I just don’t want to sell myself short. Also my first post on CC, thanks!
