I chatted online with an admissions representative on their website a few times and every time, the representatives clarified that its 6-8 weeks from the April 15 DEADLINE, not the time you sent in the submission.
I don’t get why on the applicant portal it says 4-6 weeks but on the frequent questions page, it says 6-8 weeks. I just want to know already. My principal has sent a letter of recommendation for me because apparently letters of recs are very valuable from a principal. Could this help my appeal?? :neutral:

I really hope decisions don’t come out in July and august like for other classes, the waiting is killing me.
@okayokayokay It definitely will be over by then. Last year, people were getting their appeals rejected like mid-june.
I’ve honestly lost hope with the appeal, I’m just glad I at least got accepted into another school.
Hey guys, I just logged in my portal 10 minutes ago and all the font was bolded. After I refreshed, the page went back to normal. Anyone else have this glitch?
I just logged in and didn’t get a glitch but hopefully that means that they are starting to change decisions for certain people and we’ll finally get an answer.
I just realized that tomorrow will be the 6th week since we appealed. Could that possibly mean we’ll get our decisions tomorrow? Past appeal classes have gotten their answers this week too, so I’m really crossing my fingers. I just need to know already!

hi everyone, prior to getting rejected, my portal had all of my information, such as full name and uc app id.
When I got rejected, my portal changed towards the top of the page. It no longer had that personal info, just a Status Update (my rejection letter) and the option to submit my appeal/appeal FAQs.
After I submitted my appeal, my portal just Status update, Appeal Summary, and FAQs - no personal information.
NOW my portal has changed with my personal info on top (name / uc app id).
Did anyone else get this?

@futureanteater97 i checked after I read your post and I saw the personal information tab, I don’t remember seeing that before
I don’t understand why UCI is like this. There’s always something wrong with the portal and it’s driving me crazy
@cashcowcow Does your personal info show up at the top of the portal too? Mine didn’t have that (except when I was waiting for an admissions update) and after like 7 weeks, it suddenly has it.
