S3 rejected for Data Science. UC 4.1, 1440 SAT 9APs, all 4s/5s of those completed.

It is just my estimate. There was a link posted earlier in this discussion of the admits to irvine last year being 27,334 of 95,000 applications. Now i know that not all people are on such forums but I am making this assumption based on the high caliber students at my school have not received a decision thus far. Now i may be reaching but I am saying that if they chose 1000 students (no idea if they actually did) then it still leaves a multitude of students left over who were admitted. It seems that no volume that large has been admitted yet. Just a hopeful guess.
@“kpk.19” I agree. If UCSD and UCSB can let everyone know on the same day, why can’t the other UC’s? Don’t all the UC’s have access to the same software to manage the capacity? It’s cruel to drag out the process, with such vague info about the timeline. It would be nice if someone representing UCI would come forward to communicate their rationale…or just change the policy to something more humane. Imagine if all businesses treated their clients this way?
