I would try to choose something closely related to psychology. It seems a lot of pyschology majors had about a 3.7 or 3.8 to get in but as I said before ask a counselor! My school has an honors counselor that is very knowledgeable you should see if your school has one.
Also try to get some ECs if you can
Does anyone’s portal still just say “We have received your Transfer application?” It never changed to under review or anything so I’m a bit uneasy about that.

I have a 3.08 UC GPA and I never really thought I’d get in but I just want to know already lol
I have a 3.1 UC GPA but I made sure my personal statements and EC’s were strong and convincing. I just want to know too!
Just got off the phone with admissions. They said all will be released tomorrow so to keep an eye on portal. She did not specify if admissions, wait list or rejections. However, she said not to rely on email for notifications for the reason that they tend to get delivered to junk mail or spam where we do not get notified. (Which actually happened to me) lol one more day guys!
@UCI6288, your GPA is a lot better than mine. I would pay tomorrow night when all decisions should of been release.

I honestly think my personal statements helped me a lot.
I’m pretty sure they waited till the last day to send out a mass message that all of us waiting are not accepted or are wait listed 
either way, I won’t be surprised tomorrow anymore
not to be negative but I dont think I’m getting accepted but they should’ve told us sooner. I’ve hardly heard of any rejections from uci only acceptances.
Feel for you guys, though I’m a freshmen applicant. I kept checking my portal every minute since I saw people started to post their acceptances , and I kept doing that for about three days till I got my decision which was waitlist. That was frustrating…
And they usually released acceptances first, then waitlist and rejections all together after acceptance batch… This is so cruel

I should just accept my ucla acceptance and call it a day regardless of UCI being my number 1
If May 9th is the new and last notification date, I’m guessing the last couple days going before May 9th would be rejections and for right now there’s still a chance of acceptances?
@amkismit I noticed you posted this in the UCR thread as well. Is this for all UCs that still have decisions coming out or was it a specific campus? I know that ucr in the previous years have sent decisions out past April 30.
