@PeePeeMcgee Please don’t say that; I’ve been anxious over this that I can’t even focus on my studies rn ._. I got waitlisted at Davis. I don’t want to fill out two waitlist essays

@CancelOut I have no idea what went wrong. Perhaps I may be overthinking it but, I do have alot of 4-year credit from my last university. A community college counselor told me I’d be denied TAG because of that but I didn’t listen to him because I spoke to a counselor from UCI and UCI informed me I could successfully TAG because my credits from my 4year were unrelated to my current major. Even after I submitted my TAG app back in fall, I got the email that said I’m all good to go if I follow the conditions of TAG, which I did too.
So is it even possible to appeal a waitlist? If it is, what exactly are you writing in the appeal? I’ve heard it is only for new and compelling information not already mentioned in your app? Any thoughts?

What’s the deal with being waitlisted? Will you hear back before the june 1st sir deadline?
So I received an email from UCI April 17 requesting more information from my first years of high school (where i attended it because I moved on my sophomore year) I did not see it until 7 days later, the only gave me 5 days to respond, because it was sent to my junk mail. They said responding late could result in cancellation of my application or it being delayed. I know it is not cancelled because i have called the campus, but how much would it be delayed? 
@jdsam23 they told us that they gonna let us know by June 30
Anyone got accepted in Business Administration? I got waitlisted with 3.79 GPA… Still need to wait until June 30

Ahhhh! I got waitlisted too yesterday evening. I’ve been doing some research and some people say that one can appeal their decision to be waitlisted, can someone confirm this? I don’t even know anymore I’ve been so upset the remainder of last night. What do my fellow waitlisters think? Shall I try to appeal their decision to waitlist me or shall I just wait until June and see if I get rejected then appeal? I have a feeling I’ll be rejected on the waitlist (even if my major isn’t impacted) because UCI is one of the very last UCs to release decisions and there are still tons of people waiting for the UCI decision which might mean that UCI is their top choice like me. Correct me if I’m wrong on that.
