Friend got rejected w/ supposedly completed tag for Comp sci w/ engineering. Honors program + 3.8 GPA. wth? iunno what happened, maybe a mistake or an oversight. anyone get in today or rejected with a completed tag?
I just got rejected. Nursing sciences, 3.58 GPA. volunteering at a hospital for EC. Working part time during school.

@69megameow You might wanna check your portal then, the suspense will only eat you alive like my buddies and I. One of my friends is refusing to check it like you… Better to know now sir! That way If you were waitlisted you can submit your SIP like I did or if you were rejected you can at least take the time to appeal. Or better yet celebrate your acceptance with a few kegs bruhh. :(|)

@pphoenix honestly kind of sounds like my situation. Irvine was a safety for me. I have a 3.8 gpa and completed all the classes. Idk what happened but I guess I’ll be attending UCSD or Davis.

@Sportrider84 I’m in the almost in the same boat as you. I did get accepted to SB (through TAG), but as my alt major. I’m waiting for USC, but I don’t expect favorable outcomes either

It’s extremely sad to see so many good students getting rejected! I feared the same for me and had literally no clue what I would have done had I not got in here.

Yea, my friend got into SD for undeclared but is still devastated. I’m wondering how I got into UCI last week with a 3.4 gpa for chemistry. Some people said u needed to maintain 3.4 for your major required classes as well but that’s not the case with me cuz I got an A and a C for my prereqs so 3.0 gpa. I don’t know if it had to do with impacted majors or whatever. I feel really bad and I hope everyone that got rejected does well at another college or gets appealed.
Oh, to clarify, Chem only needs 3.0 for prereq so yea maybe u need a 3.4 for engineering
