Hey can anyone let me know why my housing contract(16000) cost more than my net cost of attendance(10000)?
@zarmok1998 I was confused about this too. However, after talking to a few friends who currently attend UCLA, this seems to be the norm for people who are receiving financial aid. The reason why it says that is because that is the way that UCLA accepts payments. Essentially, you pay the “full price” but they end up reimbursing you so your total cost equals what they initially told you your net cost was. Confusing and weird, I know. But that’s just how they collect money for people receiving aid.
