Maybe there’s some weight to this? If they were coming out on March 15th, they probably would’ve sent an email confirming the release date by now.
none of the UCs except UCB and UCSB have ever announced their decision date
@abrooke1 is correct that at least for the last couple of years only UCB and UCSB have announced their decision dates. Based on historical data, predicted dates have been fairly accurate. Due to the volume of applicants checking the portals simultaneously, it has caused the websites to crash so some schools no longer confirm decision dates.
UCSB sent notifications yesterday that they will be announcing on 3/19 after 3pm
Thank you. Already saw the announcement.
Sorry if already posted but yowza the application numbers this cycle are that much more bonkers than the last:

ETA: actually a couple of spot checks show some slightly lower
Still insanely high.

Looks like still waiting for UCLA…
Hi Gumbymom,
Thank you for your guidance.
Is UCLA math an impact major? What is the school math mạjor under?
Thank you
Math is in the College of L&S and not impacted.
I’m a student and my ucla portal says decisions will be released in late march. So I think decisions will come out March 22nd, not March 15th. Even though March 15th is the 3rd Friday, the last time March 1st was a Friday, decisions came out March 22nd.
Yeah lots of calendar rules of thumb are like that e.g. the third Friday after the first Thursday of the month. It may be the case here.
Huh??? Reddit - Dive into anything
UCLA is out???
Edit: nope, it is not. That guy was probably an early admit or something, idk if UCLA does early admits.
UCLA does not do early admits so I would say wishful thinking. I find Reddit posts highly unreliable.
Forgive the portal astrology type question, but when people go into their portal and click on the “Contact Us” link underneath “Status”, is the withdraw option available or greyed out?
Greyed out and it states “(no longer being accepted at this time)”. What’s the alleged significance of that?
I didnt notice before but I can see now Withdrawing your application (no longer being accepted at this time)
